The BC Government announced yesterday that employees will now be entitled to 5 paid sick days effective January 01, 2022. The 5 paid sick days are in addition to the 3 paid sick days per the Employment Standards Branch of BC. This is to encourage workers who are not well to stay home without losing any wages.
